Omod was born in Gambela State in Ethiopia. He holds, among others, a master's degree in Forestry and Natural Resources Development. He is also a certified Agroforestry and Forest Fire Management expert. Omod worked for more than 10 years as a senior project manager in the field of afforestation and reforestation in Gambela State. He has a total of 15 years of relevant work experience. As Regional Director, he leads the NILE FOREST Department in Gambela State / Ethiopia.

Ogebe was born in the Republic of Sudan (now South Sudan) and has many years of experience in business administration and politics. He received his education in the Republic of South Sudan, Kenya and Germany and has worked as a county commissioner in Pochalla, deputy mayor of the provincial capital PIBOR and as a manager for the nature conservation organization African Parks. Ogebe is responsible for the operational management of our farms and gardens. As Regional Director, he leads the NILE ORGANIC Department in Otalo / South Sudan.

Ajia was born in the Republic of Sudan (now South Sudan) and has many years of experience in business administration and finance. She received her education in South Sudan and in Kenya. Ajia is part of our management team and is responsible for finance, which includes purchasing, sales, balance sheets and taxes.

Alfred was born and grew up in the Republic of Sudan (now South Sudan) and has many years of experience as a teacher and school director. He received his education in South Sudan and Ethiopia. The vocational schools planned as part of our social impact concept are designed and managed by Alfred in the lead.

Marisa was born and grew up in Switzerland. She studied business administration and communication science at the University of St. Gallen and worked among others for the United Nations in Geneva and New York. Marisa has many years of experience in the field of public relations and in cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations. She supports our startup in external communication and marketing.

Ogato was born in the Republic of Sudan (now South Sudan) and has many years of experience in business, agriculture and politics. He received his education in the Republic of Sudan and in the Republic of South Sudan. Ogato is responsible as a technical advisor in the areas of agriculture, public relations and government contacts. As a Senior Advisor, he also takes care of our strategic communication.

Eiko was born and grew up in Germany. He has lived and worked as an entrepreneur in Zurich (Switzerland) and Berlin (Germany) for over 25 years. After finalization his Master's and PhD studies in engineering and economics, he gained many years of experience as a serial entrepreneur and early stage investor in company building with a focus on real estate development, renewable energies and agribusiness in various countries. Eiko expanded his personal and business network when he worked on behalf of the United Nations in various African countries between 2016 and 2019. Since then, among others he has supported the agri-startup NILE ORGANIC on the one hand as a "business angel" with know-how and an international network and on the other hand financially with the help of its investment company Areos Group. Eiko is one of the initiators and co-founders of the impact-driven and non-profit organization NILE FOUNDATION.
